  • iPhone 5 no boot after liquid damage

Hi, after that iPad Pro Disaster (other post) I thought Id turn to this iPhone 5 data recovery. It had quite bad liquid damage and was botched up by another shop, who thought removing the digitiser and rear camera connector was a great idea. Well, the phone doesn't boot. I did find that D7 gets hot first. Is this a concern? I already attempted to replace it despite thinking it wouldn't help, which it didn't... Anyone got a clue on this?

You have an iPhone 5 that doesn't turn on. What happens when you connect power with DC power supply? What is your diode mode reading on vccmain?
