So you have a 7plus that is bootlooping. What is the diode mode reading on vdd_main, is it normal? If not, then it may be worth it to pursue figuring out why not by following the path of water with your eyes---visual exam will show you where the water was.
However, with a history of previous water damage and vdd_main short that the phone has been living with damage on vddmain for three months, this could EQUALLY LIKELY be either of the common causes of iPhone 7plus boot loop---baseband CPU problems or audio ic.
Is it the long boot loop (minutes) of audio ic, or the short boot loop of baseband problems? Assuming it is the short bootloop, check the diode mode readings of components around baseband pmic to see if you have a baseband problem.

iPhone 7 Plus Bootloop
HI i have an iphone 7 plus. the phone has a 0.06 amp drain when connected to a power supply. I have tried to inject 3.8V directly in to the pp_vdd_main and it draws 0.06amps nothing is getting hot enough for me to detect and the phone keeps rebooting with apple logo on the screen.Tags: None
