  • Power-z

I just got one of these devices

I think it would be of great help to get images of a good reading and bad reading for certain faults

For example could it detect a tristar from a good power up to a faulty tristar

Is the POWER-Z tool still a useful tool to use??

    Thanks

    Jerry

You can test for bad tristar a lot of the time just with a multimeter without even removing the motherboard.

Unplug battery, plug in charge cable, measure between battery + and - , if reads under 3v = bad tristar. No I don't have a power z dongle.
